  1. Jon: 04:28 (no real hand stand pushups - just attempts)

This workout was too easy when considering it is only one round, but after under estimating how sore I would be last time - I am happy with it.

My form on power cleans was weak, I kept pulling the bar away from my body on the way up. I think once I have some weight on that will go away but it is still a natural reaction I need to retrain.

The hand stand pushups were anything but. Getting position on the wall was very difficult, lack of flexibility and core strength meant I had to get the approach just right. I decided to do the first and last sets by attempting the wall supported hand stand. The middle set I spent focusing on the kipping technique from the ground just like in the video. This wasn't difficult but even sitting on the ground, I could tell I will end up kicking away from the wall instead of vertical, I attribute that mostly to a lack of flexibility.

I have ignored flexibility my whole life. Once I get the warm up down, that will be my next focal point in the exercises.

Speaking of the warm up, I did it twice yesterday and today it is feeling much better. The wall squats burn a lot and 5 burpees winds me quickly. I figure I have a couple more weeks before my legs will get used to this type of stress.
